Note on the left side of the sign....."Parkhurst Mountain". I took this photo while in Whistler, BC, CA last August. It is a bit difficult to make out specifically which area is Parkhurst Mountain, but I also have this on a map of the area. It seems the subject Parkhurst was a logger who came into the area as the lakes and rivers of BC were opening up to commercial shipping and trading around 1870+-
